A ST. MARY DEVELOPMENT SURVEY REPORT
St. Mary was the recipient of a Del Mar Encore Fellow Initiative Grant in 2018. The purpose of the grant was to explore how tele-health and emerging technologies can be used to reduce the disparity of access to services and healthcare for seniors living at or below the poverty line.
This report provides the results of a survey conducted in partnership with Linkage Connect to assess the current ownership and usage of technology among the residents living in St. Mary's senior living communities. Throughout the report, information is included from the literature identifying some of the national trends and issues related to technology and older adults.
A COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH INITIATIVE
PUBLISHED BY THE HARVARD UNIVERSITY JOINT CENTER FOR HOUSING STUDIES AND NEIGHBORWORKS AMERICA
The purpose of this research was to address three primary questions: (1) What are the resident services offered by affordable housing nonprofits, (2) how are these resident services funded, and (3) how are these resident services delivered? This research offers organizational- and policy-level insights into the implementation and sustainability of delivering resident services.
As a NeighborWorks chartered member, St. Mary Development's work is highlighted in the research report multiple times.
We’re always looking to connect with new partners, peers, and friends to conduct and share research that can build better lives for seniors. Leave us your information and someone on our team will reach out soon.
St. Mary is a proud member of NeighborWorks America.
