    $48M project will update Dayton area affordable housing units from the '70s

    A $48 million project led by Related Affordable and St. Mary Development Corporation will renovate 567 affordable housing units across Dayton, Riverside, and Trotwood. The rehabilitation, supported by federal funding and tax credits, will modernize five apartment complexes originally built in the 1970s, preserving much-needed housing while keeping rents HUD-subsidized.

    Dayton nonprofit wants to add senior housing on Centerville’s St. Leonard campus

    St. Mary Development Corp. plans to build the $19.2 million Sister Rose Residence, adding over 50 affordable senior housing units to the St. Leonard CHI Living Communities campus in Centerville. The project aims to address the shortage of affordable senior housing in the region and is currently seeking funding, with construction potentially starting in 2026 and occupancy by mid-2027.
