The U.S. housing market finds itself at a pivotal moment: an acute housing supply shortage of about 4 million units coupled with historic home price appreciation have led to a crisis in affordability. Nearly half (46%) of Ohio's renters experienced housing cost burden, and almost a quarter (24%) experienced severe housing cost burden.
