Many of the residents of our low-income apartments come to us with nothing. They have no bed, no dresser, no lamps, no table. While they are able to pay the rent for our affordable apartments, they aren't able to furnish their new home. They go from living on the street or in a shelter, to sleeping on the floor of an empty apartment.
St. Mary Development Corporation partners with St. Vincent de Paul's Community Furniture Bank to get basic furniture for our needy residents. So when you donate your furniture to St. Vincent de Paul, you also help the residents of St. Mary Development's 600+ low-income apartments.
To schedule a furniture pickup, call (937) 222-5555 and press 2. Please tell them you are donating the furniture in the name of St. Mary Development.
